20 of the Guild Gunmakers will be in Dallas to show their rifles. Hopefully the Guild will move their get together to Dallas. I think it will be a big benefit to them.

Glad to hear the Guild has decided to try the DSC!

Now for my plea....

Will someone PLEASE take a bunch of pictures and post them here for all the poor slobs who couldn't make the show...?

Have a great time in Dallas!

I would like to tip my hat to the guild members with such great vision to the future.

You will find out there are some really nice folks from Texas, take Butch for instance!

Getting ready to leave now for the show. The dinner last night was packed! Left during the auction we were all beat! I was at work yesterday and Chuck and Rick had driven down from Colorado. Butch--stop by Chuck Grace's table he brought my rifle down to show! Can't wait to get to shoot it!!! dancing

Yes we are leaving here about 0630 Saturday. Stopping at Taco Cabana along the way. We will be traveling from the west to the east.

Was able to visit with Jim Kobe, David Christman, James Anderson, Chuck Grace, Joe Seeley, Dan Pederson, John Burns, and others. Craftsman was there as were others. I had a wonderful time.

Well nuts Butch! Chuck told me I just missed you! Was up visiting with Ralf Martini about my build and just missed you but after 4 days I am beat! Got to visit with everyone and had a long discussion with a outstanding Smith and person Jerry Fisher who even bought me a beer (got some bottom metal as well Big Grin)! Was a great show---got my engraving lined as well as a new special deal for Guild Members (only) who can buy AYA barreled actions in the white. Got my blank ready for that one as well and Chuck took home the blank for the G33/40 30-06 project for next year’s show!

Did you see my rifles on Chucks table? Was hoping to get to see you but it was a mad house there Saturday! I just wish I had more money----so little time so many guns to build! Smiler

Lot more I wanted to see, but my back was giving me trouble. Next time Dave and yes I saw your rifles. I would have taken them home. Chuck does very nice work.
I sure hope the guys did well at the show.

I agree, it was a wonderful experience! Westbrook was kind enough to sign my book, etc. For those who had rifles on display, I am sorry about the engraved fingerprints on them, my wife had to pry my fingers loose on several of them! I know the Guild members had a good time and will be back...Arthur

They had an area with tables this year, it is my understanding they will be able to each have their own booth as other exhibitors in 2013.
