Ive got a couple Ruger No.1's. I generally like them; but it seems just when Ruger had a really great idea, they went cheap. The folding sight is a joke that belongs on an entry level .22 for some kid that is gonna want a scope. I mean seriously on a Heavy caliber rifle a folding sight is ridiculous.

Does anybody make a direct replacement NON-Folding sight? Of failing that a replacement rib with sights?

Id also like to change the front sight, to something more visible. Is an IVORY or ivory-like sight available?

Go to New England Custom Gun's website. They have single blade rear sights that will fit a Ruger no 1 quarter rib.it is a standard 3/8" dovetail. If you can use a drift punch well enough to adjust a rear sight, you can install one.

They also have the Ruger dovetail front sight blades with beads as well.
