Does anyone know if Dan Pedersen is still in the barrel business. Phone calls don't work for his business, can't leave a message.

Tom Turpin, who posts here as T-Square, would know, as I believe that he uses Mr. Pederson for barrels almost exclusively when building his custom rifles, of which he has many.

Dan is indeed still in the barrel making business. However, his workload is exceeding his ability to complete projects in a timely manner so he is trying to control the volume of jobs coming into the shop.

His phone system limits the number of messages in the inbox which usually gets exceeded immediately each day. He is essentially a one man shop for barrel making so if he's on the phone, he's not making barrels for clients with jobs promised for delivery. It's not personal believe me, he can only get so much done and sometimes answering the phone is out of the question if he's going to be able to honor his commitments.
