I am gather items to build in school and I need a 22Lr to build into a full blown Squirrel rilfe. I have the option to buy a CZ 452 and a MAS45 for about the same price. Which one would make the better rifle. I know the MAS45 would need a new barrel and bridges but the CZ has that ugly 11mm rib and it's new. I am also planning on building a hinged floor plate for either. The MAS has the swing safety that can be turned into a "70 style" side swing.

So MAS45 or CZ 452? Adam

i have a original 1922, interesting gun but a little oversized for a gun to shoot tree rats with.

Is this what you are trying to duplicate?

No, not duplicate. I wanted a MAS45 to build on but the Springfield was an option. Adam
