XeroSorta Custom --
I have a Rem. 700 PSS (Police Sharp Shooter) in .308 Win. Optics are Leupold Mark 4, 6.5 X 20x 50 mm, Mil Dot. Jewell trigger set at about 2 oz.
Caldwell bench rest. Various assortment of sandbags.
I'm doing case prep w/ Sinclair tools, neck shaving, primer pocket prep, de-burr primer hole. -- Mostly according to Varmint Al's suggestions. 162 gr. bullets -- various match grade.

Jim HundleyCan't prove it, misplaced the targets, but I have had a few five shot groups from the .308 PSS ( when the throat was fairly new ) that measured .250". Some of those rifles shot !!!
Just FWIW, no BS.

larrysJim, I would have not have disagreed with your comment at all. For me it is the .2 and consistent that got me. I too have a custom 6.5-06AI that got me a witnessed .129" group, but it was just once when the shooting gods were totally with me, three shot group, but not consistent. Maybe ~.5" overall for consistent.
