All done! This started life as a Parker GH 0 frame 20ga. Ive sleeved it to 28ga w/34” barrels. I Also restocked with a stunning piece of Turkish walnut to the owners provided dimensions and style. Got it to 6lbs 15oz and balances 3/4” in front of hinge. A little weight in the stock will bring it back. Briley installed their thin wall choke tubes. Turnbull CCH’ing Why you’ll ask? The owner wanted this(and a matching 20ga) for dedicated sporting clays guns, specifically for sub gauge competitions in the Vintagers shoots. http://www.facebook.com/profil...p?id=100001646464847 A.M. Very nicely executed. Tastefully upgrading/modernizing/repurposing some of these old classic shotguns and rifles can produce great results and get these old classics back in use.

Very interesting. With the 34 inch barrels. If he would use sub-sonic loads it would be quite also.

AL, interested in your comment about bringing the balance point back. For the intended purpose it is right where it needs to be...in my opinion.

Well executed Aaron! Lovely gun that will be fun on the course or in the field. On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died. That's a Snappy looking blank that you used on the Parker. Contrast really makes it POP! You could see that from across the room, nice job.

Does one need a reason to justify owning something this beautiful?

Aaron, That's a gorgeous little gun but I was wondering why the lever was so high above the tang? No criticism, just curiosity. The lever is pushed over to the right allowing the barrel to hose open. Picture angle dramatizes it. Once swung closed it appears normal over the top tang. http://www.facebook.com/profil...p?id=100001646464847 A.M. Little Bespoke Gunmakers LLC 682-554-0044 Michael08TDK@yahoo.com

Conventional thinking would be that it is heavy for a 28 but what a great clays gun with a weight that is perfect for that. It looks incredible. Are you working on the matching 20? What a pair that will make! Thank you for sharing.

Damn nice job, single purpose maybe, but that's what "custom" is all about
