Under another heading, Lindy 2 wanted to know what they looked like...and...Ray, spoke too soon, think I'll keep it.

Shown for comparison is my 3MX (XTRA deep for 375, etc).

Thank you for posting the photo. That Brno does look like it has a lot of finger room in it.

Looks like a VG47 to me. I thought model 21 and 22 Brno's had a shotgun style trigger guard.

Alf is spot on..If I can find one at a reasonable price Im going to try and make the bow and floorplate system into a single unit all welded together as taking the original apart from time to time causes fitting problem particularly in the lower tang of the trigger bow with the small screws, We'll see how that goes?? May have to use a glass bed fit with glass lined screw holes to get passed the wear time over the years..Thingking a lip under the grip cap might work??

I have a picture of my rifle unfinished and a Brno I customs stocke using the original bottom metal, an it loods cool IMO...Go to My New Custom rifle page 2 and take a look of both and give me your opinion of comparison of the two bottom metals profile.

Any suggestions are welcomed.

Coincidentally, I found a Brno 21/22 bottom metal unit last night whilst looking for another part. I'd completely forgotten I had it. Now I can replace the unit currently in my 8x57 since the unset trigger pull in the rifle is atrocious.

You will have to cut the slot out for a single trigger unless you can find a 1943 Brno mod. 21 or 22 that was exactly the same but cut for a single trigger. That's near impossible so Id just modify the one you have, or get a trigger job on the unset trigger..

Just to clarify.. is this a drop in for the BRNO 21/22 or ZG-47?
