I have two Savage 1920 bolt action rifles. One a little worn the second in better shape. Would like to buy a semi in-leted stock to upgrade the whole gun. I sports a Lyman peep sight and would be a great restoration project. Where could such a stock be found??? square shooter

There isn't much chance you'll find a stock for that anywhere. Why can't you use the current stock, or the one from the other rifle, and have someone copy it with a stock pantographing machine? They can set it up to rough inlet or get it very close. They can also leave extra on the outside of the stock if you want a bigger grip or longer LOP, and they can add a cheekpiece. In fact, if you did a couple of extras I bet you could sell them for enough to pay for the one you need. Every now and again someone like you is looking for one. .

I could probably copy yours. Little extra wood no issue. Longer LOP Little more of an issue. Cheek piece lot more of an issue. As usual just my $.02 Paul K
