Irl is shaping a .411 wildcat Mauser from the blank, Joe is inletting a 7x57 Mauser into a custom machined stock and Eric is inletting and shaping a Martini Cadet from the blank. All three fellows drove to Livingston, Montana to attend the Seminar.

If you are interested in attending next year, please drop me a note at: sdh@finegunmaking. com and I will put your name on the list.
I begin contacting interested students in February so there is lots of time for planning. These classes fill quickly!

Friday brought all of us trying to get as much as possible accomplished...
Joe kept patiently scraping and removing small bits of wood from his Mauser inlet.

Eric shaped his Martini, mostly rasp work.

Irl made a huge pile of sawdust on the floor shaping his big bore Mauser.

Some talented fellas there!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
