Does anyone know how closely the actions are to each other? Will a pre 64 fit in a 76 stock?

The dakota's have the clover leaf tang like the pre-war model 70, the hole spacing I am not sure of.

I just measured the hole spacing on a pre 64. It is 7.437. The hole spacing on my Dakota 375 H & H serial #760 is 7.650. Dia. of both receivers is 1.350. Length of receiver from front of action to rear of tang is 9.175 on the Win & 8.785 on the Dakota. It's not a drop in from one to another.
