both rifles have 24 in douglas barrels, 22-24 lines/in checkering, talley sling bases, 338 started as a 300 h&h super grade so mag length action. Wood came from Champlin Arms. Both have cast off 1/4 in at heel and 1/8 in comb and 13.5 LOP. Client doesn't reload was able to get both to shoot factory , Federal nosler partitions well. Willie at Champlin ( now past from heart attack) did the barrel work and throated them perfect. thanks elton
