No more expensive than the cost of a decent automobile, and probably a whole lot more enjoyable. Why not? You only live once...

Isn't that the way with all quality items made by true craftsmen. From furniture, firearms, and watches.

Beautiful, but... Does that scope look a bit far back, or is it me? Would be tough to adjust the way the mounts are...

This is really an elegant rifle! Wow! Sure would like to know more about the action..sorta looks like a Shirley???

I suspect the scope is about where it should be...these single shots tend to be a little misleading..can't prove it, though!

I know there aint much comparing a #1 to this one, but I've had a few Rugers. When I mount scopes, find the sweet spot, then step back and look, they always seem WAYYY far back, but thats where they need to be for me.

Qualifications

Fellow Institute of Chartered Accountants - 1973 -1994.
Career: Weapon Training Officer, Light Infantry, 1957/58
# Gunmaker since 1964.

I think the action is similar to a Hagn but the bottom metal work has been extensively modified
