Has anyone heard of a gun builder by the name of T T Proctor Cheshire England ?
This past weekend I acquired a 375 H&H on a BRNO action with the above name marked on top of the barrel I do not know which model of BRNO except the year stamp is 80.
The gun is in nice condition and has seen a fair amount of use.
It has a single blade rear sight on a quarter rib and a Leupold 1.5X5 in BRNO QD mounts.
Proctor does have a website but thus far no reply to e-mails, so any info is greatly appreciated especially if I can find out which model of BRNO I have...

kevan.

Trevor is definately one of the good guys. Forget the e-mails - just give him a call and I'm sure he will be glad to help. A lot of older people in the UK, like me, don't like e-mails.......... Confused

Regards,

Mark Reynolds sold one of Proctor's guns last year. Was very nice and I would have considered it myself if not for the porting.
Agree that Trevor puts out a first class rifle.

My rifle is not as fancy as in the pictures posted by Huvius, but nonetheless still a very nice rifle.
Mr. Proctor replied to my query and gave me a few details on the gun.
Built by him in 1984 it features a Rich Karns barrel with a 1in 9 twist and it is a BRNO 602.
It seems to prefer heavier bullets possibly brcause of the tight for 375 twist.
Now I'm really looking forward to hunting season...
