Not exactly pretty, but effective. It’s a Remington Model 760 carbine in 308. I have a 2.5 X weaver in Leupold QD rings. There is also a backup Lyman 66 sight aligned with the irons. In PA they are known as Amish Machine guns! https://imgur.com/gallery/VEszavA Quick, Cheap, or Good: Pick Two

Those are nice little guns. I have one myself in 30-06. Kicks like a mule. Yours deserves a reblue! KJK

I’ve been putting off a reblue of the carbine for years. I had one 760 rust blued and it was so pretty I never used it again so I sold it. I may have the carbine ceracoated, maybe green with black highlights. The third photo is my 30/06 rifle with a Picatinny rail and a tiny red dot sight. That one is my bear gun. Not much more to be said..... My first rifle was a Rem 760 rifle (not carbine) in .270. My brother later bought a carbine in .30-06.....A very fine gun for hunting. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery."
