Has anyone here ever built a .375 H&H (or similar) on a Zermatt/Bighorn Origin action?

I recently had a .300 Win Mag built on one of these actions and I’m impressed with the quality for the price….and the fact that it’s a CRF action made me wonder if it was worthy of basing a larger caliber on it (or a similar Remington 700 clone).

Any thoughts or advice are much appreciated.

I took a look at their CRF bolt head. I see the design as an affordable alternative to the non-rotating claw of the Mauser 98 or Win. M70.
I like the fixed blade ejector and really, it's the only way forward and still be CRF.
They show an action with an open top load/ejection port, I would choose that option as it's easier to load and eject.
I would couple that action with an all steel Badger Ordinance bottom metal with a hinged floorplate and guard bow release lever. As far As far a Magazine box and follower goes, I'd go with a Wyatt's Outdoors.
For a trigger, I would go with a Jewell because
I like it's stainless steel construction vs Aluminum and carbon steel like many others.
The action has a pinned recoil lug making a switch barrel set up easier, should you want to go up or down in caliber.
On a 375 H&H I would set it up with a decent set of open sights NECG Masterpiece will be fine.
As far as a stock goes in regard to the Rem.700 and clones including the Bighorn, It's a Rem.700 clone, there are many designs to choose from, I would stick to a traditional sporter design and look for one with an integral aluminum bedding block. As far as effectiveness, it will be as effective as anything out there. I would have the rifle professionally built to ensure all is correct and that accuracy and function are perfect.

I would probably choose this stock simply because you can have the integral aluminum bedding block with practical sporter design and there is a little more weight to this design which will help with recoil, making accurate shot placement easier from field positions and it doesn't break the bank doing it, leaving more $$ for other needs like ammo or decent optics.
