I found a blank that I fell in love with. Not the most expensive, but a beautiful piece of wood, IMO. English Walnut from Roger Vardy. Will be used to do a 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser that will be built off a Pre 64 Mod 70 Winchester Action.

Hard to go wrong with Australian walnut in general, very hard, dense wood. Good luck with your project. Please post pictures of progress if possible.
