I'm wanting to get my grip cap, scope rings and possibly the action lever on my Dakota 10 done. Who would you use? Cost?

I used Turnbulls one time and was happy with both the CC and blue.

Roger Kehr did the engraving.

Two companies widely used by high-end restorers are Doug Turnbull and Classic Guns. I have used both, Classic Guns is a little faster, cheaper, their colors are a little less brilliant, a little more subtle and realistic. (edited)

I don't remember the price, but was amazed at how reasonable it was compared to past rust bluing projects. That was including their bluing also. I think it was a 2 week turn around.

That double is beautiful. Lovely muted and dark colors that match the wood and bluing perfectly. It wouldn't look right with anything else.

Color Case Co is out of business; I think he may no longer be with us; I called a couple of years ago and the lady on the phone sounded sad. I used to send them stuff, but now, Turnbull is the best for me, if you want very vivid, bright colors.

I was mistaken. Color Case is indeed no longer in business and my Parker was not colored by them. The correct company is:
Classic Guns LTD
1702 Dixie Hwy.
Crete IL 60417
708-367-1620
classicguns@att.net
The same accolades apply to them.
