I opened this month's copy of Sports Afield and while thumbing through it I came across SDH's Custom Shop feature on Dave Norin. The rifle they had chosen for the article, a Husky 9.3x62, is residing in my gun safe. The only change I have made to it is to replace the Leopold 4x with a 2.5-8 Vari X III. Talented builder, Mr. Norin. Great rifle, reminds me that I need to take it for a walk soon. On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.   Well one job I will never qualify for is gun photographer. However, here are a couple of shots. The picture in Sports Afield is much better and the article on Dave is worthwhile reading! Dave is a good friend and this is his website. He builds about ten guns a year now, and does half that number of restorations.
