I opened this month's copy of Sports Afield and while thumbing through it I came across SDH's Custom Shop feature on Dave Norin. The rifle they had chosen for the article, a Husky 9.3x62, is residing in my gun safe. The only change I have made to it is to replace the Leopold 4x with a 2.5-8 Vari X III. Talented builder, Mr. Norin.

Great rifle, reminds me that I need to take it for a walk soon.

Well one job I will never qualify for is gun photographer. However, here are a couple of shots. The picture in Sports Afield is much better and the article on Dave is worthwhile reading!

Dave is a good friend and this is his website. He builds about ten guns a year now, and does half that number of restorations. One of the nicest people to talk to, in an industry with a lot of great people.
