I know lots of folks do it, but what is a good average price?

I am looking for someone that has a pattern similar to the Mauser 98 big bore pattern currently in use by Mauser of Germany.

Are you wanting 100% inletted or
95% and finish it yourself? 95% runs from $125-200+/- last ones I had done were $150. Several members here provide the service. PM me and I will send you my source info.

I do a 95%+ for $115 currently. However, I don't think I have the 98 pattern you have in mind.

As usual just my $.02

Looking for a large ring 98 classic stock with room for a drop floorplate.

I would personally prefer less drop at the comb than more.

But i'd need to see photos.

Paul, make sure you stop by. If nothing more you can shoot some pigeons. I swear those things double in numbers everytime you look.

LOL I think about a close as we get is Portland Maine. This trip will be a cruise along the coast. Still plan a couple weeks hitting all the interior spots.

Been YEARS(50+) since I had to thin pigeons. The used to work the barn over when I was a kid.
