NICE!

I'd hazard that the 320gr load is because this rifle isn't intended for hunting the "small" stuff?

Wow, classic British styling in a versatile continental caliber! Well done.

Very nice rifle, 320 grains are dynemite on buff`s . a frined of mine has a VZ 24 action rifle in 9,3x64 and he has used it on deer, wild boar ( first official wild boar taken here was by him and the 9,3 ) stag, moose, lots of antilopes . He got the rifle for his 50 birthday of his wife and he loves the rifle very much .

I'm envious! Very well done, that rifle is actually everything that I enjoy. It oozes character and charisma and is understated, yet very classic. Great choice of chambering as well. Kudos times ten!

Our Gunsmith prefers to remain anonymous for now and the action is VZ24.
If this rifle is ever to be used on Buffalo and Elephant then the 320grn Woodleigh FMJ bullets will be used. However, with the scope it will be used with 250, 286, 300 and 320grn Woodleigh and Swift-A bullets.

Some more pictures of it.

The Smith does a great job with his Buffalo fore ends.

This 9.3x64 with open sights and 320grn loads is a joy to shoot

I really like the way the top sides of the bases are FLUSH with the sides of the rings not allowing the bottom sides of the rings to overhange tha sides of the bases. Talley should do his bases the same.

That is what has been getting my attention as well although the more I see of this rifle the more I like it. Even the cal is pushing some buttons. Kudos to all involved in the build.
