We recently took on a couple large consignments that I'm sure some here would be interested in seeing. Many world class gunmaker's work showcased. Jerry Fisher, Ralph Martini, Lon Paul, Joe Smithson, Ryan Breeding to name a few. Mostly built on GMA actions.

Great rifles.

Looks like they are being snapped up fast, too!

Restores my faith.

Ya, I'm humbled to be handling so many fine guns by many of the gunmakers I've long admired.

Michael: I was also encouraged with how fast some of them have gone given the state of the economy and the lack of demand for big bores. Restores my faith too.

Figured I'd post a few images from the collection:

The Danie Joubert/Faan de Vos (Stockmaker) .500 Jeffery is especially interesting. I know both gentleman well (they've made a number of guns for me) and I regard their work as second to none. They've made a number of guns bearing some very famous names over the years, trust me...

That rifle is one of a number of .500 Jeffery's styled after Fletcher's .500. The latter was stored for some time years ago with a Pretoria-based dealer who specialises in upper-end firearms (another very stand-up guy-the other half of my safe comes from him) and in the process it got measured up (and copied) quite extensively.

Thank you for that background info on the rifle. Danie reached out to me last week after he saw the gun listed and gave me some of that information as well. I was going to update the listing with it but the gun sold already.

This is the first rifle I've held built by them, but I would agree with your assessment regarding the quality of their work.
