I stoped into a local hawk shop today, and saw a sporterized G-33-40 mauser,
It was a we bit rough, but nothing to wory about, it was chamberd for the .308.
The bolt release was a little rusty, the bolt handle was nicley bent and polished, it was drilled and tapped but still had the military saftey.
Cold not find a serial number on the bolt so cant say if it is the origional.
I know it is a sought after action, but don,t know what its worth. I know what I can get it for and it wont cost much. input please ?

If I was sellling actions, I would ask 500 each. Already drilled and tapped usually makes it worse from a gunmaker's standpoint. Matching bolt doesn't matter. 33/40s serial number is on the back side of the bolt handle, so if it has a new handle, the number is gone.
