"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance." Cicero - 55 BC

“It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker, that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own self-interest. We address ourselves, not to their humanity but to their self-love, and never talk to them of our own necessities but of their advantages.”

bwanamrmFits the bill... well done.
On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

AnotherAZWriterAmazing what a skilled craftsman can do - the action was made in 1960 but looks brand new. The proportion and shape of the fore-end tip is perfect - can't say that about all guns I see here.

I was thinking the opposite! Finally someone shifted away from a 9.7 X 39 ...or whatever obscure stuff guys, who never shoot their rifles, seem to like.
With that said, without a brake that thing will be a killer on both ends.
Beautiful rifle for sure Jim!
Ain't opinions great?

Heed the words of Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984:
"Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."

AnotherAZWriterI love the .300 RUM; probably the best overall cartridge for big game hunting. That said, I would have chambered this in .30-06.
