As requested during last year's shows, we will have the following rifles in the white, available for customers. You will be able to select your rifle and have your measurements taken for final fitting. I'll post pictures of the individual rifles in the near future. The lightweight model is patterned after a 1932 lightweight rifle that we recently purchased at auction for a client. The original rifle weighs 8.75 lbs. We wanted to make a rifle that is easy carry all day, but has some true Rigby history behind the design. The new rifle will weight between 9 and 9.5 lbs. We also wanted to keep the cost of this rifle down compared to our standard rifles. We are using the same magnum Mauser action, but we are modifying the rib, sleeved on rather than integral, and the front sights will be modified Recnagel versus one we make by hand. We are making a lightweight barrel patterned after the original. Here's a picture of the original 1932 rifle.

It is in the white, we didn't weigh it. Probably 10.5 lbs, but we will finish it to the weight specified by the customer.

I love that classic Rigby. So much want. Unnatural want. SCI Life Member DRSS "In those savage countries success frequently depends upon one particular moment; you may lose or win according to your action at that critical instant." Sir Samuel Baker
