Those are the old stamped Fajen nose caps, I installed many of them years ago

The Lenard Brownell nose cap is a much different shape and a heavier casting
The shape lends it to CNC mill production

Smaller???
It fits OVER a banded front sight. Not the barrel itself.

I almost ordered one until I looked up the 1022 Int.

Outside, they are quite petite. I didn't reckon the inside measure though. Probably about 40 thou too big?
