i made a post about this in the optics section but i think it will be ok here as well because this will be a custom rifle when completed

I am restoring my fathers first deer rifle. when I got it it had a scope base made by mashburn arms company. it had no rings. i tried some weaver rings and no deal. the dovetails on the base are too narrow. my question....what rings were used, back in the day, with this scope base? and, does anyone know where i can get some? thanks for any information

Was cruising GB looking for Mashburn stuff just yesterday and remember seeing this. Caught my eye because the shop is just down the road from me and I get down there once a month or so.

If you want, I could buzz down and take a look at them for you.

thanks for the heads up. don't go to any trouble but the next time you're there, take a look at them and let me know. also, if you don't mind, ask if they will sell just the rings. thanks
