Below are photos of my Hyper Single in 257 Roberts. It is being restocked. The photos show after 2 coats of finish. When that is done it is off to Kathy Forster for her beautiful checkering. This rifle was built in the middle 70's and has been sitting in the safe. Maybe 10 rounds through it. I need a quarter rib built for it as the old one that I made was about 1.25" tall. It will get rust bluing.

Pictured below was my old quarter rib. Now you know why I need another.

I would also like somebody to reshape the lever-trigger guard.

Nice rifle. Really like those singleshot´s. Is that a custom action or can one buy one somewhere?

A few of them [complete rifles] were made in the early to mid 70s by Sam Lair in Jenks,Okla. Sam died several years ago. A few unfinished receivers are floating around. I gave mine to one of our forum members a few years ago.

Nice rifle Butch, and the action builder was only 50 or so miles from here.
