Anyone here a fan or collector of Beitzinger custom rifles? Friend has one in 300 WM on a Mauser action, jeweled bolt body, checkered bolt, beautiful wood, etc.

John, he wants $5,500 for it insured and shipped, but I could probably get $900 off if you didn't need the scope.

FYI, George sold his shop a few years ago and is no longer in business as far as I know. I remember seeing him watching whomever bought his lathe removing it from his shop. Wherever he is now I hope he has a nice retirement. Frank

I have a savage 99 that came out of his shop and its my favorite rifle...its a early 99, straight grip, Marble receiver sight, Win SRC type stock and in 30-30 and shoots great...His workmanship sure does show in this gun...Its not a full blown custom but close enough for guvment work! tu2 and has pretty wood and awesome checkering..Bought it off AR and very pleased..
