A few things had to be done to her action (As I saw it anyway). The bolt handle was as long as Meryl Streep's nose and wasn't set up for scope clearance. The ring square bridge was of little use, but it would look pretty plain if removed entirely. I lowered it and checkered the top. Trigger lever was plain ugly, so I replaced it by welding on a 98.

The barrel is a GMA integral design and the wood was furnished by client, but apparently came from Steve Heilmann, well-aged and dense. The engraving, lettering was done by Jim Blair.

A lady's 375. Wonderful! Is that a 2 position or a 3 position safety?

Duane, you are correct. That stock blank was listed under "high end blanks" and sat for awhile until the current owner bought it.

Note that I have reduced the on the price on the last remaining blank.

Very nice!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
- Rudyard Kipling

Life grows grim without senseless indulgence.

Am I misunderstanding, Lothar Walthar does not use Krieger barrels..

I like what you did with that gun..Originally it didn't need a lower bolt, the claws of the day were high enough to let it clear..ugly but they did work, poor dumb bastards didn't know about the fabled 3 point contact to be able to shoot well! I like it better your way but don't have any trouble shooting such a rifle in either vogue..

GMA uses Kreiger Barrels. This barrel was interesting! Had a tapered bore. Call to Kreiger said it "was not uncommon"

I shot it a number of times with two different brands of factory ammo. Rangemaster and I both thought the primers were flattened a bit, but overall seemed OK.

I never had this before..anyone else?

Butch: I didn't slug it, but pilots make me believe it was more like .0015

Zephyr: Couple of puzzling things. Almost all dimensions were peculiar. Hole spacing, and bolt bore. Fixtures I have used for years were not useable on this. There is not enough room in the ring to single load.

I had no issues with workmanship, quality, and it fed right out of the box
