Looks like a nice 280, doesn't it? I've heard of Vic Olsen, but that's about it.

There's another one at Hallowell's in Montana in 257 Roberts for about the same price as the 280. If you called Hallowell's and talked to Morris, he would know about Olsen and his work. But the fact that Morris has his priced at $2,400 leads me to believe that Olsen rifles do not sell on a par with the better-known makers.

The .280 is nice, the caliber is among my personal favorites.

I did a web search, noticed that Olsen's rifles were in the $2500 range, as you say, not on par with the better known makers.

However if the quality of Olsen's work is comparable......
