Sometimes you gotta send a message to whomever may be listening .....

Today we had a qualification shoot for the Hessen State German Hunter's Shoot Championship. This leads to the German Federal Championship that will occur later in the year ....

..... but here we are standing around, waiting to be called to the line; and one of the premeiré gunsmith's in our World, walks over and spends another hour BS'ing with the guys from; not any of the local German Clubs but his American Buddies from the American Association of Rod & Gun Club Team.

Dunno ..... gotta be impressed because Dweebs such as ourselvles end up getting tangled into discussions about, caliber, action, loads, weather, glare, stock shape, abilities, ect. Oh, and Bye-the-Waye, Gottfried is always up at the top of the Rankings; a superb Shooter himself.

Like any other really good day at the Range or in the Field; it was a very satisfying day - in great Company but gotta admit; it humbles us, a really nice fellow who spent time with AMERICANS - not his countrymen; Gottfried relating an era gone by of American shooters that he's spent rewarding time with.

Wow. Nice to see we are not forgotten by our "hosts". Wish I could have been there. Instead I am about to depart Huachuca after a week.
