JeffreyPhDBeautiful rifle. I like the way the cheek piece is blended with the stock above the grip. A bit unusual.

450 FullerVery nice and rare skeletal metalwork with first rate stock. All a very pleasing rifle.
Has me thinking about a newly obtained 1954
M-70 in 270 WCF.

bwanamrmNice work Jim!
On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Use Enough GunBeautiful work Jim! I love the wood that you got for the rifle from Cecil Fredi. Cecil's a good friend of mine and lives about 8 minutes from me. I'm always over when I can be, drooling over his 30K+ gunstock blanks stored rack by rack in his huge warehouse and drying containers. For me, I'm a happy kid in a candy store when I'm at Cecil's.

Jim KobeThose pics were taken by me with my cell phone, they do not portray the wood's beauty

eamyrickHow light can you build a wood stock pre-64? 6.5lbs would be amazing.
