I found it in a shop in vegas. can't remember who put it together but the stock guy pass a few years ago. price was $3050. guy had 2 more sako customs one in claro and one in flame maple on the medium actions.

I didn't buy it, bought a 223 blase bbl instead.

It loooks to be one of Vern O'Brien's "later" rifles.....after he sold his company to H&R. Later.....in that it is marked Ackley-O'Brien, as opposed to O'Brien Rifle Co.

The coloring on the two stocks look like they could be cut from the same tree. Nice, both of them.

Nice rifles. My father has an O'brien rifle co little beauty in 223. Fun and shoots great.
