Well to cut a long story short I have been trying to contact the gunsmith who I had heard about several years ago with no success, but last week the gunsmith was asked to speak at a meeting I attended.
He bought along some rifles and I thoughtI'd share

Sorry but I didn't manage to get a full pic of this rifle

Is Brian Harre making rifles once again? Very, very nice!

I thought a few might recognise the action and workmanship. The engraving was done by Andrew Biggs of Christchurch.

Both rifles are built on Harre actions by Brian, and he said he is not building anymore.

I was trying to get him to build one of his actions in L/H........unfortunatly he won't

The 257 Roberts wood detail at the ejection port and bolt handle is very impressive. I'd like to see what he can do or has done with a standard Mauser 98 action in a similar stock design.
