My cat Harley thinks she is a screen saver, apparently.

Every time I get on the computer she jumps up on the desk and stands between the keyboard and the screen.

Is this something they are taught in "Being A Cat 101"?

Harley also likes to sleep on her back.

I took this photo and texted it to my wife at work.

She texted back, "Is the cat DEAD?!"

Nope, she is just really laid back.

Do others have cats that sleep in strange positions (or places)?

My new kitten does the same. They want to lay on the keyboard, purr, etc.(basically get in your way). I told my wife that they are only carrying on their secretarial skills, short paw 101.Would'nt be the 1st girl to fall asleep at the typewriter!

Yes, and my cat does the same thing on a laptop.
And if he gets away with that he will just lay down on the keyboard.

He has been known to swat at the cursor as well.

My "Hurricane Katy" likes on my lap while I'm on the computer, or around my head while I sleep, like my previous cat. Cats are one of my main forms of entertainment. Wife says I'm good cat staff. Katy hasn't said either way yet.

Not sure if that is an ear mark, or if the ear tip is simply folded back.

We rescue strays and when we have them neutered, the vets here in this part of Texas do ear mark them to show that they are/were feral cats that have been neutered.

Even the rocks don't last forever.
