Our 12 yr old calico had to be put down last week. We had returned from a 2 week cruise and couldn't find her. A family member had been feeding her but had not seen her for a couple of days. I finally found her under a shrub after two days. She was weak and could hardly walk. We doctored her for three days and finally took her to the vet. Liver disease was the diagnosis with no hope of recovery. Her ashes now reside on the mantle with a pic and her collar.
