Gentlemen, it has been suggested over at the RWVA site www.rwva.org, and http://www.rwva.org/yabbse/index.php that our shortage of Instructors for our Appleseed Program might be solved if a few retired Marine DI's might want to help us out? The need is now, and you'd certainly be made welcome!! Please come and give us a look-see.

What you want is retired Marine PMI’s not DI’s. When recruits head to the range the DI’s hand them over to the PMI’s (Preliminary Marksmanship Instructors) who handle the training/coaching. Check your local VFW’s.

Since you are in Canada have you considered contacting the Candian Sniper association? I’m sure they have one and those guys are top notch shooters.

Thanks Rick, but RWVA HQ is in NC. Please go to sites noted and read info re: what we are trying to accomplish.

I would contact the Marksmanship Unit at Camp Lejeune. I’m sure they would have some Marine’s that would be willing to work with you.

This is not a direct response to your need. However, if you have direct access to Fred, please tell him "God Bless You" for what he is spending his money and time trying to do. I read his article every issue in SGN and think he is "spot on" with his views. My country gal's just a moonshiner's daughter, but I love her still.
