I have one on the way - not because I need it, but because I was wondering how much rifle you could buy for $300. I have been looking at the CETME - I have seen very mixed reviews on them, some folks have had great results with them and others have nothing good to say about them. I found one that was previously owned and the owner stated he never encountered any problems with it. I was able to pick it up, along with quite a bit of ammunition, extra magazines, cleaning kit and the like for less than $300 delivered to my FFL dealer. Do you guys think I got a good deal or have an expensive wall hanger? If nothing else, it will give me another toy to play with. Thanks Never trust a man who has nothing above the daily barter.

Hello, No problems other than a horrible trigger, terrible sights, not very accurate and oh yes, tends to not feed very well, but other than that, no problems. These are problems I have seen with most of them, but then again, you might luck out and Good Luck!! Favor Center!! dsiteman

What a relief! Besides a terrible trigger, horrible sights, poor accuracy, and feeding problems - it sounds as if I got a pretty good deal! Thaks, dsiteman, for the words of encouragement and support..... Never trust a man who has nothing above the daily barter.

I'm afraid dsiteman, summed it up pretty well, MrUREasy. But for $300, I don't think you did too bad! Shoot it and enjoy it! Clean it up and sell it if it doesn't meet your expectations! DaMan

the only thing I hate about these is when someone is shooting one next to me at the range, the F ing muzzlebreak shockwave from a spray and pray eposode is about enough to make me go kick the guys ass!!!!! in times when one needs a rifle, he tends to need it very badly.....PHC

MrUREasy, I've had several in my shop. Three to be exact. One (the first) had a few fitting issues that I corrected. I cleaned up the wood a little and lapped the bolt carrier to the receiver. It shoots fine, has not malfunctioned, and is accurate enough for a battle rifle. One of these days though I've got to play with the stock as it still fits tight. The next two I ordered for customers. I had to send them both back for fitting issues. One customer wrote me an email and expressed dis-satisfaction as to the rifles accuracy. The other I've never heard back from. No news is good news? Personally, I think its a good bang for your buck. And, as with any rifle, you can always fix what you don't like. have heard quality issues are all over the place as well as accuracy. luck of the draw. a buddy at work has one, loves it, but did say he had to do a little tweaking and shooting in. nothing that wasn't worth the trouble in the long run. speaking of the brake, he took his off last w/e and i think plans to replace w/ a US made fer real flash hider now that he can.
