I also posted this question in the cartridge collector forum. I have 480 rounds of Lake City National Match M72 ammo in original sealed paper boxes. The ammo has been stored in metal ammo cans and is virtually in "as-issued" condition. It is in two lot#s, dated 1967. Can someone help me with the value of this please? Thank you. Let's see...you have 24 boxes...that will likely bring somewhere between $480 and $720 if sold one box at a time ($20 to $30 per box) in today's market at gun shows. To sell it all at once, I'd guess somewhere between $400 and $500, depending on how quickly you want to get it gone. 5 years ago I used to buy "white box" " 7.62 military match ammo for $10 a box if I bought it one full GI metal ammo can at a time, but we all know what has happened in the last 5 or 6 years. My country gal's just a moonshiner's daughter, but I love her still.

I'd guess pretty close to $400. Bring it along to SCI and we'll talk... Rich
