Does anybody know what a like new Colt Series 70 .22 LR Conversion Unit (Model 03150) would be worth?

It's worth pratically nothing, however there are several AR members willing to pay the postage so that you aren't out-of-pocket.

I'm not sure what they're worth but if you have a few .22 mags you'd like to sell let me know.

My buddy has a Pachmayr/Stahl unit w/o mags.

Not sure what model number mine was, but I bought it new in 1974. In the original box, all papers, even the tissue type wrap, with an extra factory magazine, I traded it for a gun that was worth about $550. I had it for sale for several months at $500, but no takers. The best offer I received was $400. This was earlier this year. Hope this helps.

congomike, that sure does help! I appreciate the help! beer

I don't have the tissue wrap, but otherwise pretty much exactly what you had (I think).

I've seen some ridiculous prices asked for these ($575 in one case) and wondered what they are REALLY worth.

I bought mine in the early '80s but it's the Series 70 unit that fits the Colt series 70s and most ALL 1911 clones.

Ciener, et al make new ones and are asking about $350 for them IIRC. If yours says "Colt" on it figure nearly a 50% premium.
