Samco Global has it here Since it was hard to find for a long while, this might be some of the last. I am posting this to inform, I have no relationship with the seller. I ordered 5 cases and received them last week, but have not shot any of it yet, supposed to be quite accurate. It costs $36.15/case to ship to Texas, there is no multiple packing so it costs just as much to ship 5 as 1 on a per case basis. Be advised that the seller requires all kinds of information, depending on where you live, to order (in my case, it was a real PIA but I struggled on)....see their ordering forms. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. I'm glad that I handload too, but unless you go to the trouble of setting up a progressive press for a certain rifle caliber, AND if you count your time value, anything less than 50 cents a round is MUCH cheaper than you can reload. Obviously different strokes for different folks, but I'm not fond of spending hours reloading rounds that I'm going to shoot up in one session mostly for fun. Just for the fun of it, I just priced current costs to reload the Swede, using the cheapest components I could buy at Midway, it comes out to over 32 cents a round with no allowance for your time. That is figuring 10 shots per brass case and using Remington Core-lokt bullets. In other words, you're saving a big 7 cents a round, $7/100, no counting ANY time value. Not for me. In short, this surplus and many other sources of other calibers are DIRT CHEAP for fun shooting and I don't care how much you like to reload unless that is all you like to do. I much prefer shooting and hunting to reloading, although I do enjoy working up loads for certain rifles OCCASIONALLY. Most of the time, I use a "generic" handload and if it shoots acceptably as they usually do (or they wouldn't be generic) that's good enough for hunting or plinking work. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. I bought a lot of Hansen (Prvi Partisan) ammo at $5.95 per 20 a number of years ago to shoot up for the brass. I also bought a large lot of bullets at $3.00 per box of 100. It cost very little to load when you get the components right. Less than $.20 each.... Casting bullets can make it less expensive.

Sure, and I've got some primers that I paid less than $10/1000 for but current costs are what should be considered. I've also got quite a few boxes of factory Federal 6.5s that cost less than this surplus, but I doubt I'm going to find anymore of that bargain around. The brass is only factored in that 32 cents for 5 cents a round. Take that out completely and you're still over $27/100 with NO TIME VALUE IMPUTED. I think opening a twenty pack, loading up, and then letting the brass hit the ground without trying to keep track of every piece is a helluva lot more fune but to each his own. BTW, if you count your time casting, unless you've got a master caster (wanna buy one?), and especially if you consider the safety issues, I would suggest that cast bullets are more expensive than many factory bullets. Not to mention, that, for most rifle uses, you have to gas check them and keep velocities down. All that is fine, but it doesn't make for fun plinking/target shooting FOR ME. Again, I'm certainly not ranting against casting or reloading, but if someone is limited on their free time, it is NOT a cheap way to shoot IF you value your time. If you enjoy it, that's great, but don't try to sell me on the savings for plinking type ammo. And, let me make this clear, I sure don't care if anyone buys any of this surplus 6.5 or not, I've got all of it that I think I will ever need and probably then some. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. .........although I'm seriously considering buying a Ljungman (I would buy it for sure but it is higher than I really want to pay) and it might spit them out faster..... xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. Gato, I have been picking up components at give away prices for 30 years at a rate much faster than I can shoot them up. The only thing that I HAVE to buy on occasion is powder. I don't store large amounts since it has a shelf life. Bullets for the most part have no shelf life so to me they are like bullion. As my brother once said when the going gets rough the best metal to be invested in is lead.

Yeah, that's because it takes so long to load them into shootable rounds. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members.
