Does anybody make single stack magazines for the Romanian AK in 7.62X39 that hold more than 10 rounds?

Standard AK mag is double stack design. They come in 30 rd. and 40 rd. options. I never saw the "Clintonated" 10 rd. AK mags. Somehow the AWB never got that crazy. I never saw one.

The AK is configured for a "double stack" mag. Plastic and metal, they're readily available. I wonder if you're thinking about the practice of tapping two AK mags together, end-to-end.

I had 2 AK mags that were "plugged to 5 rounds, for those states that require only 5 rounds in a semiauto for hunting. TX does not have that rule. Both of these mags were shorter than the regular 30 rounders, but they were different lengths.

I removed the "plug" mechanism, and now one holds 11 rounds the other 15 rounds.

Neither one extended below the pistol grip.
I found them very handy for normal sporting purposes.

My Romanian AK came with 6 mags, all single stack. I believe that I can have the receiver machined to accept the double stack mags.
