Does anyone know why the book: Quartered in Hell: The Story of the America North Russia Expeditionary Force 1918-1919 is so expensive? $95.00 to $277.00 for a paperback book? It's not like it's the only work on this subject.

Just curious, my Dad bought the book years ago for whatever it sold for new...he was excited to get it as he'd never seen anything written on the subject before but knew it happened as one of his relatives was over there.

Most "students of history" I've spoke have never heard this Exp. Force.

Probably one of those books with very little interest, distribution, and printed privately.
