I have one of the M17 commercial pistols; yes they are very good pistols. I don't know if these used ones are worth what they are asking or not. They are big pistols, low recoil, and reliable. Striker fired. Sig Sauer basically bid around $200 so they could get the contract, but not make any money.

My personal favorites are the Browning Hi Power, the Combat Commander 1911 Colt in 9mm, and the Glock 17. Never cared for Sig or Beretta.
