I can recommend the following, I have used them all.

If you want the smallest and lightest take a look at the Doctor Optic.

The Aimpoint has a very good record.

The EO Tec has a very good record. You would want the one that use the lithium 123 batteries.

The choice between these two would depend on which reticle you like the best.

Also both can be had with a 3 power or a 4 power magnifier, that mounts behind it.
A very good addition.

For indoor or very close fast work a red dot is a good choice.

Also the Leupold CQT is worth a look. It is 1 to 3 power, and while it does have an illuminated reticle, it also has a reticle if the batteries are DEAD. The red dots do not, no batteries, no reticle.

If you will not be doing a lot of indoor, or point blank outdoor work the ACOG 3.5 to 4x sight is also worth considering.

They can be had with a 223 or a 308 ballistic reticle.

The Hendsolt 4x scopes with the ballistic cam work great as well.

Also there is nothing wrong with having more than one "sighting device" for your FN. Big Grin

Ultradot's offerings are all I use. They are a small operation, they are very well built and can tollerate a lot of abuse and are guaranteed for life. I have one on a .475 Linebaugh revolver that has lived through thousands of top-end loads without a squeak of protest. Go to www.ultradotwest.com

I've got to go along with Whitworth. Ultradot has given me good service and parallax is minimal.

velocity is like a new car, always losing value.
BC is like diamonds, holding value forever.
