Happy Birthday!

On a somber note, Lt Gen John F. Kelly and his wife were honored guests at our Marine Corps Ball Celebration this past Saturday, Nov 6th. They have 2 sons currently in Afghanistan. General and Mrs. Kelly's son, 2ndLt Robert Kelly, was killed in Helmand Province yesterday, Nov 9th.

You work your side of the street, I'll work mine.

There's a reason I chose to work in the lingerie "division" of the navy department.

Selection.

Go get 'em, boys!

Cousins? Well, maybe first cousins. I was thinking brothers.

I wouldn't be a Naval officer if a certain set of USMC DIs at P'cola didn't allow it to happen.

They made me sweat alot, mebbe cracked a few ribs, and what they made me do to my (demilitarized) M1 Garand rifle was unnatural.

Eventually they gave me the thumbs up. So I owe a great debt of gratitude to the Marines.
