Well I have shot this and Federal Gold medal and there was no comparison. M118LR in my rifle prints in under a half inch at 100 while Federal prints at three quarters. If they would ever get anymore in at ths price I would buy a case as my rifle loves it. Date Added: 05/29/2009 by Allen Stephenson Fine ammo at a very fine price. Ordered 4 boxes and was kind of skeptical because of the price. However, after firing 2 boxes out of my Steyr SSG 04 and pulling regular .3 and .4 moa I think this is by far the best deal available as far as a good match load. Will definitely purchase more. Date Added: 02/01/2009 by Jeremy Mcguire Spent the weekend at CVT shooting from 600 to 900 yards. Shot 90% with this ammo all the way to 900. 1 miss was due to a wind gust, 1 was because I twisted the dial up instead of down and 1 was a plain old miss. The ammo was absolutely perfect! Date Added: 08/18/2008 by Rory Goldman First time for this ammo. Produced a 10 shot, 1/2" group at 100 yards compared to 1.5" group produced by hand loads. Great ammo!!! Std was 7fps. Date Added: 02/27/2008 by Jack Frost 10 out of 20 cases had significant dents in them. On the good side all weights were within 3 grains total. Bullets were seated ON the lands, OAL is short. Comments from US Armorment: The brass used in this ammunition is NEW Remington brass. In the course of production there may be some MINOR dings or cosmetic defects. We have had first grade LC ammo with the same issue. All of the ammo we sell is Mil Spec and acceptable under those specs unless otherwise specified. No exceptions. As far as bullet OAL, this is NOT a Sierra Match bullet. It is a proprietary design, in house BT bullet. With this bullet the OAL as per Mil Spec for this round IS correct. The proof is in the shooting. These bullets will not wobble out there at 800 yards like most commercial ammo and based on our own testing always shoot tight, consistent groups. This may or may not be good ammunition...... but American Ballistics is not a supplier of M118LR ammo for the US military as they try to make you think. And they aren't loaded with the 175 gr. Sierra MK bullet. That's why I called "horsesheet"! Comments from US Armorment: The brass used in this ammunition is NEW Remington brass.
