Have a nice Persian but my eye sight is not what it used to be and I have a hard time with issue sights. Is there a peep sight out there that can be added with out any permanent modifications ?

Hve you tried a diopter on your glasses. It is a small adjustable iris. I need to try one also

Ireload2. Yes, I actually made one using a clip-on sunglasses (plastic lens). I cut the left lens off, lined up my hole on right, drilled it and then cut the lens down. Then used a black paint marker to cover the lens so I couldn't see thru it. Works good. I still have problems with the very fine sights. Several years ago I added a cheap peep to my 36 cal muzzleloader and it improved my score on squirrels. Now its Me 1 Squirrels 10...Anyway, would prefer not to add a scope mount but the issue iron just don't work and preliminary shooting with factory rds looks very good.

Sounds like you're looking for a Mojo site. They replace the rear site with an aperture site without damaging either rifle or the original site. Can always restore the rifle to its original issue whenever you like. Might be just the ticket.

Oki, You might get a M96 Swede front sight blade and install it. They are flat on top and you can control the elevation much easier with them. For the rear get a VZ-24 replacement that will fit your rifle and file the slot to match the Swede rear sight slot. They will be much easoer to use but not as good as the Mojos suggested. Another thought is to use Super Glue to attach a Williams WGRS to the receiver bridge.

Mojo looks like what I am looking for. Will have to call to see if it will fit the Persian. Thanks JohnK007. I also like your suggestion ireload2. Come to think of it, I have the rear sight off my Swede since it has a scope on it now. May have the front sight also.
