Beta-C for AR-15...?

I bought one yesterday. We took it out this morning with some of the cheap roosky ammunition to test feeding. A drum full fed slicker than a handful of elk guts on a doorknob!

Then we shot a drum full of mixed foreign stuff my guy had laying around the shop. Same thing, no feeding issues.

Took me half an hour to clean my AR, some of that gummy lacquer and a lot of copper fouling.

Anyway, they work as advertised.

They are also offering them now for a number of the different 308 zombie rifles.

take care,

Rich

Rich,

Have you tried it in your .300 Blackout yet?

GeorgeS,

nope, I am waiting for ATF to get my YHM silencer approved and mail me my letter. That is on the list and is something I need to check out this week sometime. I ended up having to file down the internal ribs on MagPul window 30-rounders to get the 240gr NOE cast bullets to feed properly.

filmit,

the basic idea was to see how ammunition sensitive the magazine might be. I now know it will feed about anything I might need to fire in it. It will get a steady diet of 77gr BHA Match from now on; unless I can get a load that will shoot better groups put together.

Rich, it tried that cheap russian crap in my Bushy once. It would feed it, but not extract it. Same think in my FN. It will feed, but not extract. Since then I only shoot the laquered stuff in commie rifles.

+1 what antelope sniper said. That wolf/russian crap can really mess with your chamber when it gets warm. I've seen extraction failures and it will actually void some manufacturers warranties if you use it in their AR's.

Honest guys, I only did it once; and I didn't enjoy it. Purely a scientific test that went okay, but there were consequences...

I had to strip the upper to get all of that lacquer residue out of the chamber. NO Mas!

I build all of my AR's so warranty is no issue.

I really like the drum, and now I know it will feed anything, come the Zombie Wars.
