I wasn't sure whether to put this here or in the book forum, but I figured the interested folks would be here. I don't know if you are aware of this book coming out, but it is here now. Bruce Canfield has written what appears to be the definitive book on the M1 Garand. I just received the book yesterday and to say I'm impressed is an understatement. It is almost 900 pages long and has an amazing amount of photographs and drawings. If you are interested in the Garand, it's history, or any other aspect of this amazing rifle, you need this book. The book is priced at $95.99, but for a limited time it is available from the Civilian Marksmanship Program for $80. Don't miss out on this one. =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= DRSS; NRA; Illinois State Rifle Association; Missouri Sport Shooting Association “One of the sad signs of our times is that we have demonized those who produce, subsidized those who refuse to produce, and canonized those who complain.” – Thomas Sowell, “The Vision Of The Anointed: Self-Congratulation As A Basis For Social Policy” . | ||
